We are seeking a dedicated and passionate clinician to assume the role of Associate Clinical Director (0.3 of full FTE).

The Associate Treatment Director role is being created as part of SASS’ succession planning process.  As such, it is expected that the FTE associated with the role would increase over time and, if deemed to be an appropriate candidate for the role, the Associate Treatment Director would transition into the Clinical Director role.  A firm timeline for succession planning has not yet been established. The Associate Clinical Director, would maintain a clinical caseload with the reminder of the FTE (0.7).

The Associate Clinical Director will support the Clinical Director to ensure that all programs and services are evidence-based, multidisciplinary in nature and consistent with SASS’ Philosophy.  The successful candidate will also assist with intake, support the development of program budgets, and work with other members of the SASS Leadership team to identify and mitigate potential risks to the agency or the services provided.  Further, as a member of the SASS Leadership Team, you would be involved in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the agency Strategic Plan. Finally, the Associate Clinical Director will serve as a liaison with external stakeholders.

Travel within the City of Calgary and surrounding area is expected.  Applicants with previous experience supporting autistic individual and their families; a firm understanding of neurodiverse affirming practices and naturalistic developmental behavioural interventions; and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications: Registered with a Regulated Health Profession within Alberta; a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; minimum five (5) years of clinical experience.
