Our Therapeutic Campus-Based Care programs are comprised of 24/7 intensive mental health services provided by a comprehensive inter-professional team. 

Salary Range: $85, 000 – $100, 000

Role Summary: 

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinical service quality across a service area in addition to the development of a program. The primary responsibility of all management positions at Wood’s Homes is to ensure comprehensive delivery of treatment and to be thoughtful in the provision of a healthy and safe environment for both clients and staff. The Clinical Supervisor will demonstrate due diligence in being exceptional in the delivery of high-quality mental health and treatment services for children, families, and individuals.

The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and management of several clinicians agency-wide who primarily serve clients in therapeutic campus-based care, therapeutic foster care, and community based out-of-home care.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure clinical excellence across programs and services through the promotion and adherence to a common model of care that is reflected in core training, assessment, intervention, and staff supervision
  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision of select staff, other therapists, and students.
  • In collaboration with Wood’s Homes management team, supports the organization’s overall clinical training needs by advising about and facilitating the development of suitable training for the staff, the delivery of this training and the organization and selection of external training opportunities.
  • Supports with the oversight and development of clinical plans, functional behavior assessments, and milieu-based intervention.
  • Provides clinical consultation and support to Wood’s Homes programs on an as needed and if requested basis.
  • In collaboration with Senior Management, determines the clinical service requirements and direction of the designated programs
  • Leads the development and delivery of clinical training for selected Wood’s clinical staff, programs, and community professionals as assigned.
  • Participates in on-going professional development.
  • Assists in research, publication, and other specialized projects as assigned.
  • Provides leadership in training and consultation to others.
  • Completes all required health and safety training.
  • Reports workplace hazards, unsafe or unhealthy conditions, or incidents (including near misses, injuries, or equipment damage) to their direct supervisor.
  • On-call responsibilities as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Masters level education in social work or psychology (psycho-social intervention designation is required).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of clinical supervision experience.
  • Is licensed in accordance with the Health Professions Act requirements and meets core competency expectations of the profession.
  • Demonstrated clinical, supervisory, and program development experience.
