Pine Cone Health – Child Psychologist Job Opportunity

NOW HIRING: Child Registered Psychologist/Registered Provisional Psychologist/ or MSW – Part-time or Full-time

We are looking for a Child PSYCHOLOGIST/MSW to join our multidisciplinary team of other Psychologists, Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Dietitians, Registered Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists, Dieticians, and Lactation Consultants.

Pine Integrated Health Centre is a multidisciplinary centre offering essential health services to women and families. We specialize in the care surrounding pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. Our children’s division is called Pine Cone Health, exists within Pine Integrated Health Centre and also comprises of several disciplines including Psychologists, Dietitians, Lactation Consultants, SLP’s, Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, and more.

Must be registered, a member in good standing with CAP or ACSW, and hold appropriate malpractice insurance.

Applicants must have competency, experience and additional training in working with children (ie Play Therapy, Theraplay, Synergistic Play Therapy, etc.). Elementary school children (5-10) are our required demographic for this position however, working with kids who are infants, toddlers, and preteens are also an asset.

Requirements

– A graduate degree in psychology, counselling or social work

– Additional experience, competency and education in working with children (5-10 years old)

– Client-centered, reliable, compassionate

– Excellent communication and collaboration with clients, colleagues and management

– Availability to work at least a combination of 2-3 evening/Saturday shifts that are either to support client schedules in addition to 1-2 daytime shifts if available. Daytime shifts available are 9-1:30 pm Mondays and Thursdays 9-2:30 pm. Evening/Weekend options include a choice of: anytime 2-3 Saturdays per month, Tuesdays evenings, Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings, and potentially Sundays).
