The Alberta Wellness Center for Eating Disorders is a multidisciplinary practice with offices in West Edmonton, Downtown, and South Edmonton. Our practice specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and is a family-oriented center centered on Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. The ideal candidates will have experience working with adults, adolescents, parents/families and have knowledge and experience of EFFT and/or a willingness to be trained in EFFT.
We are currently looking for 1-2 Registered Psychologists and 1-2 Provisional Psychologists to join our busy practice. We offer flexible schedules, competitive compensation rates, and a collaborative and supportive environment. We are looking for qualified applications to fill part-time and full-time space at each of our offices. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered or provisional registered psychologists
- Experience working with children, parents, and families
- Experience working with adults
- Experience working with trauma and attachment issues
- Specialized training in eating disorders (or willingness to complete within first 6 months of hire.)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Self-motivated
- Organized
- Liability/malpractice insurance
- In good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- Flexibility in terms of schedule/availability (willing to work some evenings and/or weekend hours)
