Our ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Psychologist with expertise in three or more of the following areas:

  • Specialized training in trauma (e.g., EMDR Therapy, IFS), attachment parenting (e.g., theraplay, Circle of Security – Parenting), couples counseling (e.g., Gottman), and/or family therapy (e.g., Family Systems Therapy).
  • Proficiency in integrating psychological principles with a Christian worldview while also being culturally competent to support clients of various faith backgrounds or none. (We serve some clients from the Christian community who are specifically seeking “Christian counselling”).
  • Experience working with children, teenagers, and/or adults dealing with a range of life issues and mental health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, AD/HD, ASD, parenting, trauma, grief, transitions, disabilities, relationships).
  • Expertise in psychoeducational assessment, including administering and interpreting standardized tests to diagnose Learning Disabilities, AD/HD, Giftedness, developmental disabilities, and mental health issues, with experience across different age groups.
