Abstract | Psychological health is never more important than in the face of uncertainty and rising anxiety levels. This live webinar is a way to support and connect our PAA members who are continuing to (or considering) providing services COVID-19 pandemic. Join us for an overview of providing psychological services during a pandemic. Foundational to this presentation will be a basic overview of trauma screening and treatment. This webinar is free to PAA members and will be recorded and made available to for those unable to join us live. |

![]() Dr. Judi Malone & Dr. Judy MoenchDr Judi Malone Judi L Malone, PhD, R. Psych (AB/AUS) is the CEO of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta with extensive experience collaborating to strengthen the role and profile of psychology and access for Albertans. Dr Malone has a wealth of scientist-practitioner experience from clinical practice, academic roles, and in research. She has expertise in working with disadvantaged populations and both national and international perspectives from dual registration in Alberta and Australia. Her clinical expertise is in trauma, the neurobiology of addictions, and professional ethics in rural and small communities. Dr Judy Moench Judy is a Registered Psychologist working Private Practice in Edmonton where her focus is on focus on recent traumatic events, mental health clinicians, and first responders. Dr Moench is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Alberta and provides consultation to psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and organizations in dealing with traumatic events including Alberta Health Services; Doctors without Borders (MSF); Fire and Police Services. She is the past-president of EMDR Canada and is the Coordinator of the Disaster Response Network for the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. |
Cancellation and Refunds |
Cancellation and refunds may be applied for by writing to the PAA office. Cancellations received fourteen (14) days prior to the Continuing Education activity will receive a full refund of the registration fee, less a $25.00 + gst processing fee. PAA reserves the right to cancel any activity, in which case a full refund of the registration fee will be provided. |
