Dr Judi Malone

Judi L Malone, PhD, R. Psych (AB/AUS) is the CEO of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta with extensive experience collaborating to strengthen the role and profile of psychology and access for Albertans. Dr Malone has a wealth of scientist-practitioner experience from clinical practice, academic roles, and in research. She has expertise in working with disadvantaged populations and both national and international perspectives from dual registration in Alberta and Australia. Her clinical expertise is in trauma, the neurobiology of addictions, and professional ethics in rural and small communities.

Erica Dunn

Erica is the Director of Training for the CPA-accredited doctoral residency program at Counselling & Clinical Services at the U of A. She has been involved in moving that clinic to remote work and has had to re-invision the trajectory of the internship during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Rowena Robinson

Rowena is a Registered Psychologist and has been providing clinical supervision in Alberta for nearly 30 years. Rowena developed her skills as an Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy at a large community-based counselling agency. She then continued to provide supervision as the Clinical Director of an EAP Company. Over the past 18 years, Rowena has been providing clinical supervision to Provisionally Registered Psychologists requiring an external supervisor to support them as they complete their clinical hours. Often they are practicing in a community based counselling agency, a health organization, or in a private practice setting and, alongside their clients and Rowena, they are navigating and adapting to this virtual world.

Jenny McAlister

Jenny is a registered psychologist in private practice in Edmonton where she provides therapy to individuals, couples and families. As a part of her practice, Jenny serves as an external supervisor to several provisional psychologists working in a variety of settings. Jenny previously served on the college’s Oral Exam Committee and is a current member of the Mental Health Review Panel.

Jon Amundson

Jon K Amundson M.A.; M.A.P.P.; PhD has been registered as a psychologist in Alberta since 1975 and in independent practice since 1980. He initiated the online course in clinical supervision in collaboration between P.A.A. and the U of C. and currently serves as the supervision consultant for the College of Alberta Psychologists. Aside from direct supervision for licensure and remedial purposes, he writes the ethics column for Psymposium: Ethics-The impossible imperative
