- Facilitate intake and debrief interviews with clients
- Conduct testing, scoring, interpretation and writing assessment reports
- Make clinical decisions and recommendations based on assessment findings
- Be the go-to person for assessment-related questions or consultations to support our assessment team
- Do your best to attend team meetings and touch base with the Studio Manager and Director of Clinical Operations as part of a collaborative work environment
- Although not a requirement, the Senior Assessment Psychologist can choose to maintain a small counselling caseload as part of their role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Comfort and competency in conducting telehealth assessments is an asset, or willingness to learn
- Willingness to embrace innovative practices and technology to improve client care and experience
- Registered Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- Experience with independent practice completing psychoeducational, social-emotional, autism and ADHD assessments. Other assessment experience (e.g. mental health, parenting capacity, work-related, vocational) is an asset
- Professional liability insurance, including cyber liability
- Completed a Masters or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or School and Clinical Child Psychology
- Ability to work with children, youth and adults
- Up-to-date Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
