Beautiful, bright clinic/office space in prime Kensington location. Looking for psychologist and physiotherapist, specifically. There is also suitable space for a massage therapist. 3rd floor corner of building with large windows in every office/throughout clinic space.
Space is located inside Alberta Balance Centre – a uniquely specialized neuro-vestibular clinic that performs advanced diagnostic testing for a wide range of balance and dizziness disorders, as well as the assessment and management of concussion/mTBI. Most of our patients require a multidisciplinary treatment plan that includes physiotherapy and psychology, which means you will receive direct patient referrals from our clinic. Interested practitioners are still expected to run their own practices independently within the space, but within a collaborative environment.
Interested physiotherapists do not necessarily require extensive vestibular experience, but some previous experience and/or a desire to expand their skills in the area of vestibular rehabilitation would be ideal. Experience in developing and delivering concussion management protocols would also be an amazing fit, but not mandatory. Some training and mentorship in vestibular assessment and management can also be provided.
No specific requirements regarding the type of psychology practice, but having some interest in helping people living with chronic health conditions would be a good fit.
There are also other health and wellness-related practices on the same floor with whom we have great collaborative working relationships, including NUCCA Chiropractic and Naturopathic Medicine.
Rent incudes all taxes, building operating costs, and utilities, as well as shared use of waiting/reception area with workspace for you/your own administrative assistant, if required. High-speed internet, printer/scanner/copier, paper, ink etc. as well as coffee, tea, water, snacks etc for the waiting area all provided by Alberta Balance Centre. There is also small shared lunch nook with fridge and microwave for clinicians/staff.
Month-to-month rental agreement to start, with no security deposit required. This is simply to allow for all parties to ensure that they feel it is a mutually positive and beneficial environment in which they can thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Longer-term lease agreements can absolutely be arranged should it become mutually desirable.
Monthly rent (fully inclusive):
Psychology office: $1000/month
- Quiet office, well separated from physio area and vestibular exam room for good privacy.
- Desk in photos can be used, if desired, or removed to accommodate personal furnishing.
Physiotherapy space: $1200/month
- Large treatment/exercise area
- Includes use of any/all equipment
- Partition curtains can also be installed to create private exam space, if desired.
Massage/private exam room: $800/month
- Massage table included, if desired.
$1800/month if one tenant would like to rent the physio space and private massage/exam room together.
