Immediate Permanent Position for a Registered Psychologist

Kelly Scott Moroz founded the Moroz Child Psychology Group in 2003; for over 20 years, our practice has been supporting children, teens, parents, and the family unit. Our office is located in the beautiful community of Discovery Ridge in southwest Calgary. We are highly regarded for psychoeducational assessment, treatment, and social skills groups.

All of our psychologists are trained in clinical psychology diagnostics, with several team members also having backgrounds as special education teachers. Our office is recognized for the early identification of childhood disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, and we possess in-depth knowledge of specialized supports available in and around Calgary. We believe that successful treatment stems from detailed and specific assessments, which are reflected in the recommendations provided in our reports.

Our office emphasizes empirically supported treatment approaches tailored to each child’s diagnosis, level of functioning, and environment. In addition to  Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy,  we have expertise in career counselling, play therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and treating OCD. Additionally, our renowned social skills program has run for the past 16 years.

We are looking for a confident, engaging, registered psychologist with a background in cognitive-behavioral therapy with children and teens. Our ideal candidate would be familiar with social skills stories and role plays for children with social-communication challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, parental behavioural management support for children with oppositional behaviours, experience with the Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) population (including the application of reward and positive reinforcement systems), and an understanding of anxiety disorders and exposure based systems. Experience with Psychoeducational assessment would be an asset. Training in Family Therapy would also be viewed as a strength. Availability to work some evenings and Saturday hours would further be desired.

We are a very busy practice. The right candidate will be provided with clientele quickly, the ability to design their own schedule, a furnished office, organized booking systems, desired training courses, all testing and therapy materials, and the support of three front end administrative staff. Working a full time schedule permits the potential to earn from $10,000-$18,000 per month (commission-based). Please direct all queries and application to:
