Aging Across Cultures: Understanding the Diversity in Older Adult Care – 3CE Credit

May 30 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT
Abstract

As societies become increasingly diverse, professionals and front-line staff must develop cultural compassion and humility in supporting older adults from ethnocultural backgrounds. This webinar, Aging Across Cultures: Understanding Ethno-Diversity in Older Adult Care, explores how cultural beliefs shape aging, mental health, family dynamics, and well-being. Participants will gain insights into culturally responsive psychological care, common barriers to accessing services, and strategies to foster meaningful, strength-based engagement with older adults and their families.
