Counselling – Independent Contractor Position

We are a collaborative and compassionate practice looking to add a new counselling therapist to our South team. We have a clinician going on maternity leave in August and are looking for someone to help with their clients as well as develop their own caseload. We offer flexible schedule options, competitive compensation rates, and a supportive and positive work environment. We are looking for qualified applications to fill part-time and/or full-time space at our South office. In addition to individual and couples therapy, our clinic also specializes in play therapy and family therapy. The ideal candidate will have an array of experience such as working with adults, children, adolescents, couples and/or families. We are looking for someone interested in joining our team long term. Qualifications:

• Registered or provisional registered psychologists
• Experience working with youth is an asset but not required
• Experience working with adults
• Experience working with couples is an asset but not required
• Experience working with trauma is an asset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Self-motivated
• Organized
• Liability/malpractice insurance
• In good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
