Job Title: Contract Psychologist – Psychoeducational Assessments
Schedule: Flexible; as-needed basis

​Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Contract Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and/or adults. This role is ideal for professionals looking to maintain a flexible schedule while applying their expertise in psychological evaluation, cognitive testing, and academic achievement assessments.

We strongly believe in the healing power of relationship and the clinic operates from a trauma-informed attachment perspective. ​ The clinic is owned by two driven and experienced therapists (over 15 years experience).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and educational tests (e.g., WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, BASC-3).

  • Prepare comprehensive written reports with diagnostic impressions and evidence-based recommendations.

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals as needed to support the individual’s learning or treatment plan.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with professional and ethical standards.

  • Attend virtual or in-person meetings when required (minimal).

Qualifications

  • Masters in Psychology from an accredited program.

  • Licensed or registered psychologist in Alberta.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting psychoeducational assessments with Supervision.

  • Proficiency with commonly used assessment tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.

  • Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents.

  • Familiarity with special education processes
