The Alberta Wellness Center for Eating Disorders is a multidisciplinary practice with offices in West Edmonton, Downtown, and South Edmonton. Our practice specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and is a family-oriented center centered on Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. To keep up with our growing client base, we are seeking a Registered or Provisional Psychologist who can offer individual eating disorder treatment to adolescents. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in providing ancillary support to parents/families and have knowledge and experience of EFFT or a willingness to be trained in the EFFT model.
We are currently looking for 1 Registered Psychologist 2 Provisional Psychologists to join our busy practice. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered or provisionally registered psychologists
- Experience or interest working with children, parents, and families
- Experience working with adults is an asset
- Experience working with trauma and attachment issues is an asset
- Specialized training in eating disorders (or willingness to complete within first 6 months of hire.)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Self-motivated
- Organized
- Liability/malpractice insurance
- In good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
