Position Available: Part-Time Contract Registered / Provisional Psychologist or RSW in Calgary

Elevate Psychology is now hiring Registered or Provisional Psychologists or Registered Social Workers on a part-time contract basis. This is a great position for those starting out in private practice.

We are looking for passionate therapists who bring compassion, warmth and professionalism to the clinic. The ideal candidate will also have a range of concerns and demographics they can work with, as well as having a deep understanding of (or openness to learn about) the difficulties marginalized individuals face in our current world.

This is a contract position with a slow build, therefore, hours will vary in the early stages with room to grow. Therapists can work as much as they want, and can choose to work remotely, in-person at our Crowfoot office, or a combination of both. Please note that supervision is not included and is the responsibility of the clinician.

The founder of the clinic specializes in trauma (PE), anxiety, depression, and women’s issues, and takes a special interest in a holistic approach to therapy. Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters Degree and completion of internship and supervision hours (Masters in Psychology or Social Work)
• Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists as a Registered / Provisional Psychologist, or with the Alberta College of Social Workers if a Clinical Social Worker (MSW, RSW)
• Must have their own supervisor if Provisional Psychologist.
• Current licensure and professional liability insurance for Alberta
• Additional training in chosen area of specialty
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Motivated to provide exceptional client care, responsive to clients and open to feedback
• A desire for continued self-improvement, willingness to self-reflect
• Ability to conduct in-person or virtual sessions
• Ability to manage administrative tasks for their case notes (ie. responding to clients, maintaining client files, completing case notes, billing)
• Flexibility in availability (able to work weekends or evenings as needed)
• Experience working with couples, families, and teens is an asset
