The Center point Clinic provides community-based, forensic psychological and psychiatric assessment and treatment services for youth in conflict with the law.

The clinic also provides consultation to internal and external service providers and is actively involved in education and research in youth forensics. The team is multidisciplinary, client- and family-centered, and committed to excellence in forensic practice. The clinic is seeking a skilled, experienced, and passionate Psychologist II to join the team. The role includes court-ordered psychological and FASD assessments, individual treatment, and program development and research. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated competency in forensic assessment, including strong psychometric test interpretation and excellent written and verbal communication skills. As an advanced practitioner, the ideal candidate will have led quality improvement initiatives, research projects, &/or program development.

Effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and justice and correctional partners, is critically important. This position is a casual position in order to better support the successful candidate’s ability to balance their professional and personal goals. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
