Psychologists

Edmonton Public Schools is the second largest division in Alberta, serving students, families and communities throughout Edmonton.  At Edmonton Public Schools, we provide a range of programs, learning spaces and supports that enhance pathways for student success.

We are currently recruiting Registered Psychologists to join our inter-disciplinary teams with Specialized Learning Supports as well as Hospital Schools Campuses.  The scope of practice will be to provide Educational/School Psychology (assessment and consultation) and Child/Youth Clinical Counselling.

Education / Qualifications

• Master of Education in Counselling Psychology or School Psychology
• registered and holds a valid practice permit with the College of Alberta Psychologists
• a minimum of three years related experience including experience providing psychological assessment and counselling, preferably for school-aged children
• advanced skills in assessment, consultation, collaboration and problem solving to identify educational barriers
• experience with developmental, cognitive, behavioural, and/or learning assessments for children with complex physical/medical, developmental and learning problems including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Rate of Pay

$51.48 to $65.85 per hour

Multiple positions available including 10-month and 12-month positions.
FTE is flexible from 0.600 FTE to 1.000 FTE.
