Blue Rock Psychology is expanding!
We are a small but growing private practice, located in South Calgary, providing counselling for adults, teens, and couples. Our large, beautiful, furnished office spaces are newly renovated, each with balcony access and a mountain view! Our mission is to be alongside clients, providing safety, curiosity, and clarity. We are hoping to find clinicians who share our vision to join our team.
Role: Registered Psychologist, Registered Provisional Psychologist (with external supervisor), Registered Social Worker, or Canadian Certified Counsellor, in good standing with the corresponding governing body.
Start date: Late September / Early October
Schedule: Full time flexible hours, including a mix of daytime and evening (or weekend) hours to meet client needs.
Location: 8500 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, AB

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Master’s degree (minimum) in psychology, counselling, social work, or related field.
- Current licensure and insurance.
- Available to work full time flexible hours (or build to a minimum of 15 client hours per week).
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a team, including attendance at monthly consultation meetings.
- Interest in working with adults, couples, and/ or teens.
- Experience in diverse therapy approaches.
- Trained (or willing to train) in emotionally focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS) or another attachment based and/ or systemic framework.
- Trauma informed and trained (or willing to train) in EMDR, ART, somatic experiencing, or other evidence-based trauma treatment modalities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, including verbally and in written form.
- Commitment to cultural competence and ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic record keeping and/or willingness to learn.
- Willing and motivated to network and create community relationships in order to build a thriving caseload.
