FOR JOURNALISTS AND MEDIA

Media Inquiries

The PAA maintains a guide/directory to assist members of the media in locating psychologists with expertise in a variety of topics of psychology.

For a referral to a psychologist who will be able to address your questions, please contact the PAA Office: 780-424-0294, paa@paa-ab.ca.

The psychologists you will be referred to have made the commitment to give as quick a response to media requests as possible. However please keep in mind that psychotherapy sessions generally run 50 to 60 minutes and assessment sessions can run much longer, and psychologists do not interrupt sessions for any reason outside of client emergencies.

Please note that comments expressed by participating psychologists when contacted represent their personal and professional opinions, and do not necessarily reflect those of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta staff, members, or the field of psychology in general. Only the PAA Board President and CEO are able to speak on behalf of the Association.
