All psychology graduate program applications require official transcripts from every post-secondary institution you have attended. Different institutions will have different processes for requesting official transcripts. For most institutions, if you have recently been a student, you can request an official transcript on your student portal. Most programs accept either a physical copy or a certified digital copy from MyCreds. If you are requesting a physical copy, you should make this request in advance to ensure there is enough time to receive your physical copies and send them to program admissions offices.
Please note that you must include an official transcript from every institution you have attended. For example, if you attended Northwestern Polytechnic for two years and then transferred to the U of A, you must request an official transcript from both Northwestern Polytechnic and the U of A. You also must include official transcripts from programs you are currently enrolled in that have not been completed. For example, if you completed an undergraduate degree from Grant MacEwan and you are currently completing a Graduate Certificate program from the University of Lethbridge, you must request an official transcript from both institutions.
