This workshop contains entirely new content that has been updated to October 2022. In mid-2022, the American Psychiatric Association released the DSM-5-TR. This Text Revision amends the 2013 version of the DSM-5. The most significant changes include updated content from a 10-year literature review conducted by subject-matter experts. This alone is worth the price of the text. Their review resulted in “significant revisions” to 75% of disorder texts. Changes have focused on sex-, gender- and culture-related diagnostic issues; diagnostic association with suicidal thoughts and behaviour; as well as prevalence rates, risk, prognostic factors, and comorbidities.
