
Jiya Juneja
Executive Assistant
Jiya Juneja has worked for PAA in different roles since 2021. She started working as the Student Office Assistant as an undergraduate student and switched to working full-time as the Professional Guidance Officer after graduating in 2023. She then took a break to start her M. Ed. In Counselling Psychology and is now back working part-time as Dr. Hanson’s Executive Assistant, providing administrative and day-to-day support.
She has experience in research and working with diverse populations, including neurodiverse children and multilingual families. She is currently completing her Master’s Thesis “Supporting Settlement: The Role of Community Stakeholders in Fostering Newcomer Belonging” and hopes to register and work as a psychologist in Alberta.
