The course was developed by PAA member Jeff Chang, Ph.D., R.Psych. Dr. Chang has been a Registered Psychologist in Alberta since 1987. He is also credentialed as a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor Mentor in the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy (CACFT), and an Approved Supervisor and Clinical Member in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He retired as a Full Professor in the Master of Counselling program at Athabasca University in 2025 after eighteen years. Before that, he started City University of Seattle’s masters programs in counselling psychology (Calgary in 1999 and Edmonton in 2000).
