Job Description: Seeking Registered Psychologists – Trauma-Focused Care
We seek skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologists to join our team, specializing in trauma-focused care. Candidates should have training or willingness to train in EMDR or ART, formal modalities in trauma therapy. This role involves providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans. We also seek professionals passionate about mentorship, with experience supervising students, interns, provisional psychologists, and early-career professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Psychological Services – Provide evidence-based therapy, conduct assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Supervision & Leadership – Mentor and supervise psychology students, interns, and early-career professionals, fostering growth and best practices.
- Collaboration – Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care through case reviews and treatment planning.
- Documentation & Compliance – Maintain accurate, confidential records and adhere to ethical and institutional policies.
Qualifications:
- Good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
- Registered with CAP to practice legally as a Registered Psychologist.
- Specializing in trauma-focused care. Candidates should have training or willingness to train in EMDR or ART, formal modalities in trauma therapy.
- Ability to supervise and mentor emerging professionals, fostering their development.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
- A positive attitude and commitment to promoting mental health and well-being.
