Are You an Experienced Couples Therapist Seeking Community Without Sacrificing Independence?

Calgary

Many experienced therapists love the freedom of private practice.

They enjoy choosing their own schedule, developing their own style, and building meaningful relationships with clients.

But over time, many discover that the hardest part of private practice isn't the clinical work—it's the isolation.

There are fewer opportunities for consultation. Fewer colleagues to bounce ideas off. Fewer chances to learn from other experienced clinicians who care deeply about their work.

At Calgary Couples Counselling Centre, we've built a community of relationship-focused therapists who value both professional independence and meaningful collegial connection. Our associates maintain the autonomy of private practice while enjoying the support, consultation, referrals, and camaraderie that come from being part of a respected clinical team.

We're currently looking for an experienced Registered Psychologist or Registered Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping couples and relationships thrive.

Who This Position Is For

This role may be an excellent fit if:
• You already have experience working with couples and relationships
• You value clinical excellence and continue to refine your skills
• You enjoy discussing challenging cases with trusted colleagues
• You appreciate professional autonomy but don't want to practice in isolation
• You are interested in becoming part of a long-term professional community
• You want to focus on clinical work rather than building every aspect of a practice alone

We are particularly interested in experienced clinicians who have developed strong clinical foundations and are looking for a collegial home rather than simply office space.

What You'll Do
• Provide couples therapy and individual therapy
• Maintain professional and ethical clinical records
• Participate in case consultation and peer learning opportunities
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive clinical culture
• Continue developing your expertise in relationship-focused therapy
