R./Prov Psych Position

The Alberta Wellness Center for Eating Disorders is a multidisciplinary practice with offices in West Edmonton, Downtown, and South Edmonton. Our practice specialises in the treatment of eating disorders and is a family-oriented center centered on Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. To keep up with our growing client base, we are seeking a Registered or Provisional Psychologist who can offer individual eating disorder treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in providing ancillary support to parents/families and have knowledge and experience of EFFT or a willingness to be trained in the EFFT model.
We are currently looking for 1-2 Registered or Provisional Psychologists to join our busy practice. We offer flexible schedules, competitive compensation rates, and a collaborative and supportive environment. We are looking for qualified applications to fill part-time space. Qualifications and Requirements:
Registered or provisionally registered psychologists
Experience or interest working with individuals with eating disorders
Experience working with trauma and attachment issues is an asset
Specialised training in eating disorders (or willingness to complete within first 6 months of hire.)
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Self-motivated
Organized
Liability/malpractice insurance
In good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
