Preparing to pass the EPPP and register as a psychologist in Alberta – Virtual

March 18 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm MDT
Abstract

Preparing to pass the EPPP and register as a psychologist in Alberta

There are many steps to becoming fully registered as a psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), and the number of hoops to jump through and exams to write can be overwhelming! Navigating the registration process is challenging enough, but the licensing exams add an additional layer of challenge and stress to already busy lives. This seminar will provide a broad overview of the CAP registration process and the licensing exams required to practice as a psychologist in Alberta. Topics will include test construction, study options, practical study and test-taking tips, and increased familiarity with exam content. Provisional psychologists or graduate students who are planning to practice psychology in Alberta will gain a more thorough understanding of the registration process and requirements and have a solid basis from which to start studying for those daunting licensing exams.
