Bio for Referral Service: Every person deserves a safe space to explore, process, and heal from difficult life experiences. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential in therapy and with the right support, growth and vulnerability can feel a little less daunting. My approach focuses on helping clients navigate challenges through exploring the roots of problems, fostering acceptance, and uncovering unique strengths and values to help cultivate a more meaningful life. I work collaboratively with clients and focus on celebrating small wins throughout your journey. I draw from several evidence-based therapies to fit each person’s needs (such as CBT, somatic techniques, and solution-focused therapy), with a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am most experienced supporting pre-teens, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, parenting struggles, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I offer in-person sessions in Red Deer, AB and flexible virtual appointments for clients across Alberta. I strive to bring a sense of calm to sessions and listen with curiosity, compassion, and non-judgement. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and strive to be culturally sensitive in my practice. When I’m not working, you can find me reading and spending time with my family, friends, and cats. I genuinely look forward to connecting to see if I would be a good fit for you or your child!
