Bio for Referral Service: Vikki (she/her) is a highly experienced clinician with a kind, compassionate demeanor. She holds a Master of Counselling and has been practicing as a Registered Psychologist in Alberta since 2007.
Experienced in private practice, neurorehabilitation, and education settings, Vikki maintains the highest professional and ethical standards. Whether supporting clients with their mental-health concerns, or providing comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, Vikki is a dedicated professional with a focus on helping clients realize their fullest potential.
As a therapist, Vikki has successfully treated clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger/stress management, and single-event and complex trauma. Her therapy style incorporates treatment modalities that will best suit a client’s needs, using a combination of talk therapy, EMDR therapy, and/or somatic practices.
As an assessor, Vikki applies strong clinical judgement to inform psycho-educational assessment findings. Through her career as a school psychologist of nearly 17 years, she has honed her assessment and diagnostic skills of learning challenges, as well as mental-health concerns affecting client success and/or psychological wellbeing.
