I have a strong foundation in both research and practice. I completed my doctoral coursework in the CPA-accredited clinical psychology program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver (BC), as well as an APA-accredited pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago (IL). During my training, I have developed expertise in evidence-based case formulations and interventions in adults and adolescents with various psychological problems, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, behavioural issues, relationship issues, eating disorders, personality disorders, psychosis, self-harm, suicidal behaviours, and substance use problems. I have also sought extensive training in individual and group therapy from multiple theoretical modalities, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), experiential therapies such as emotion-focused therapy (EFT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), psychodynamic/relational therapy, and attachment-based therapy. My doctoral research focuses on perfectionism and perfectionism-related difficulties (e.g., school/academic performance, relationship issues, and achievement problems). I also have extensive experience conducting psycho-diagnostic, neuropsychological/neurocognitive, medical-legal, and psycho-educational assessments for teens and adults. I currently work in private practice at Lawson Collab in Cliff-Bungalow - Mission (Calgary) and the Calgary Therapy Institute in Lake Bonavista (Calgary).
